This is a role for an Apparel Product Manager to join our Client's team to cater to retail and wholesale clients based in Europe and USA.
This role requires excellent knowledge of fabric and trims sourcing, garment manufacturing & coordinating with the production team.
Job responsibilities:
- Candidate should be capable of completing the given targets responsibly, Independently and achieving business efficiency.
- Possess strong Knowledge of knits and Garments and complete knowledge of Time and action, Planning, Cost Calculations and related Processes of Merchandising & manufacturing.
- Apparel product development and sample development are important parts of the role.
- Source fabrics and trims as per the company’s requirements. Sampling yardage sourcing skills in target price.
- Lead the process of sample preparation and order confirmation.
- Knowledge to make and convert Tech-packs.
- Maintaining both Sampling and Production Timelines.
- Keeping deep relationships with the sourcing and production department.
- Coordinate and communicate with Concerned departments for timely execution of shipments.
- Analyzing sales figures, customer reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs.
- Should possess Excellent communication skills and be capable of working in a fast pace working environment.
- Be the company interface with customers and market
- Knowledge about fabrics technology and sourcing.
- Must have good knowledge of garment Production, Product Development and Costing.
- Should possess good communication skills.
- Degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field, such as Marketing/Textile/Garment technology
- 5 years or more experience in a similar position
- Good English and Romanian knowledge both written and spoken is mandatory; other foreign languages will be considered a plus (Russian)
- Knowledge of Microsoft office package and most diffused textile software.
