What will help you succeed?

• Textile higher education studies, or professional qualification obtained by completing professional training courses in the textile/leather industry, specialized in materials analysis,
• Professional qualification as a laboratory operator, obtained by completing professional training courses (advantage but not mandatory),
• Knowledge of chemistry, physics in textile and leather technology,
• Knowledge of using laboratory instruments and equipment,
• Knowledge and skills in data processing and statistical reporting,
• Prone to interpreting standards and technical specifications,
• Teamwork and communication skills,
• Ability to comply with work procedures and safety regulations,
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office),
• Previous experiences in using quality management systems,
• English (advanced level: communication and reading technical documentation).

Main and specific responsibilities:

• Quality reception of raw materials specific to the textile industry, by reporting to the quality conformity standards,
• Tests of tensile strength, color continuity, water repellency and proofness, to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards in force,
• Other testing operations for certain parameters within our own laboratory facility,
• Records and reports the data obtained and contributes to the quality control team as from the materials and accessories compliance perspective,
• Supporting the Quality Manager Responsible in the documentation when referring to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other standards in the textile industry.
