WARP KNITTTING PRODUCTION MANAGER - Hungary

We’re an International textile Company, active since 1931 with head in Switzerland with mills in Italy and Hungary, with a production of high tech knitted fabrics for the active wear market.

Actually we employee more than 200 people and in a plan of generational turnover.

We’re looking for the future production manager of our warp knitting mill in Hungary (city of Szentgotthard just 1 km over the Austrian border and 70 km from Graz), where 65 modern warp knitting looms produce on 3 shift bases the greige fabrics for the Italian dye house.

We’re interested in getting in touch with young and really motivated graduated or just graduated people, M or F, with or without working experience, who are ready and convinced to start a carrier in the European
textile production’s field.

After a first period of 4 month stage to be performed in Italy and Hungary, the selected candidate will definitely join the Hungarian mill.

The company will organize a specific and long training path, 1 to 2 year, either in house, different departments  and foremost to all suppliers of materials and equipment in Europe; during the entire period the candidate will be continuously assisted by a dedicated Tutor.

The job description for the final position is:

WARP KNITTTING PRODUCTION MANAGER

Purpose

To plan, organize and control the warp knitting production , team of 50 people and 65 warp knitting looms ,  to ensure that warp knitted fabrics are produced efficiently, to standard on time and within budget .

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

·        plan a production schedule according to general planning department in Italy
·        implement and control the production schedule and review and adjust the schedule where needed
·        determine the human resources required
·        determine the material resources required
·        manage human and material resources to meet production targets
·        make decisions about  maintenance of the equipments
·        work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
·        ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
·        ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
·        monitor quality standards of the fabrics

·        implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
·        analyze production and quality control to prevent and detect and correct problems
·        determine and implement improvements to the production process
·        prepare and maintain production reports
·        monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for training and improvement
·        set production budgets ,implement cost control programs and manage production budgets
·        ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including purchase, quality , R&D , dyeing and finishing and management

Education and Experience

·        degree in textile and or engineering industrial technology
·        knowledge of textile, better if warp knitting,  production and manufacturing processes and techniques
·        knowledge of textile synthetics raw materials
·        knowledge of quality systems and standards
·        knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
·        knowledge of process improvement techniques
·        knowledge of business, finance and management principles
·        knowledge of human resource principles and practices
·        knowledge of textile , better if warp knitting, machines and tools
·        knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices
·        solid computer skills
