InterEast offers logistics services and transportation of goods to and from Eastern Europe and Asia, particularly for manufacturing companies in the engineering and textile industries. The company has 45 people employed in Romania, Turkey, Poland and at headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. InterEast has a revenue of approximately 16 million EURO and was started in 1992 by the Törnqvist family who owns and runs the company.
For our office in Focsani, Romania, we are looking for our next person within Sales to join and contribute to the local team! You will report to our Branch Manager in Focsani, Romania.
As our next addition within Sales your responsibility is to initiate and maintain sustainable relationships with customers. Thereafter support the local team with complete information always with the ambition of successful transportation solutions. For the right person, there might even be a possibility in the future to grow into a Team Leader position. Main responsibilities:
- Prospect and initiate lasting and sustainable relationships with new customers
- Negotiating and pricing of transport costs
- Registering data regarding transports and customer information in informational systemsIssuing invoices for services
- Education within Economy International Business or equivalent
- 2-3 years sales experience – logistics experience is preferred
- Fluent in English – both speaking and writing
- Initiative and positive attitude
- Good knowledge in MS Office - particularly MS Excel
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to details
