Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Design, Product Design or related field
• 5+ years experience in an industrial design role leading high priority work
• Proved knowledge and experience in SolidWorks, Lectra software knowledge would be a strong Plus
• Leverage strong technical background and understanding of "good" design
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Innate ability to connect with customers
• Very good written & verbal communication skills in English, German would be a plus

Responsibilities include:
• Design and construct robot protective covers according to design and technical specifications using a 3D-design concept (SolidWorks, Lectra)
• Clarify technical issues, bring in your own ideas and coordinate design specifications with colleagues
• Design the process for creating robot protective covers and work on standardization.
• Create concept designs in 2D and 3D formats
• You accompany the entire process from individual parts to series production
• Revise existent models
• Development of robot protective covers based on customer requirements / technical specifications
• Independent project-processing
• You work team-, process- and project-oriented
• Your tasks include the development of initial cuts up to the technical preparation of the cuts that go into production
• Design review regarding technical and economic feasibility
• You work in a structured and proper manner, and you never lose track of the deadlines, even in situations with high workload
• Actively organize your field of activity with a high degree of personal responsibility
• Carry out all necessary calculations and add all dimensions. If necessary, you develop alternatives (for e.g., regarding materials or assembly technology)
• Create technical documentation
• Create production materials, bill of materials, standard lists
• Carry out any other tasks that result from operational needs
