Fabrics and Accessories Sourcing Manager – Balti, Rep. Moldova

Fabrics & Accessories Sourcing Manager

Experience in apparel/garment manufacturing is a must

Main duties:

• Source and develop new materials based on design/customer requirements and market trends;
• Develop new supplier and sourcing base in Europe first and far east for accessories;
• Proactive mind for sourcing with creative sourcing;
• Understand the fabric type inherent properties and understand accessories type proprieties;
• Well communicate with suppliers and merchandising team for product requirements, pricing and quality;
• Monitor the development; work with counterparts for the right timeline;
• Develop the seasonal / trend board and present it to the design team;
• Ensure fabrics meet customer’s expectations in terms of quality and price and timing;
• Knowledge of physical and chemical tests and ability to coordinate;
• Day-to-day coordination with suppliers and developers on seasonal developments.

The ideal candidate:

• The ideal candidate could have 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ERP;
• Strong ability in negotiation with suppliers (price, quality, timing etc.);
• Highly organized and deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Languages: Good English knowledge, Romanian is a must.
