Qualification and skills:
- Textile Engineer degree,
- Knowledge of garment production,
- Familiar with cutting department related activities,
- Understands the basics of cutting patterns,
- Knowledge of working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) - an advantage,
- Active user of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good English verbal and written communication skills,
- Analytical and problem solving,
- Communicative and results orientated attitude.

Job Description : Answers to the needs for fast and accurate estimation of the fabric consumption in the stages of (pre-)buying, planning and the execution of cutting.
Main tasks
- Calculates the fabric needs for each production order on behalf of the purchase team and creates optimized utilization and cutting solutions for the production teams.
- Operates our optimization software Gerber Accuplan®, combined with an analytical mindset and understanding of the use of cutting patterns.
- Retrieves the newly entered production orders, checks the availability and status of data, initiates and monitors the actions to complete missing information,
- Processes the orders through Accuplan® and reports the results to the purchase and planning teams,
- Creates optimized solutions on behalf of the production teams,
- Substantiates proposals for masterdata updates with accurate figures,
- Uses supporting software such as ERP (SAP), Gerber Accunest® and Gerber Accumark®.
