Our client is an internationally operating company from German
speaking country, which belongs to the European leading manufacturers of
materials for textile industry. Distribution of the products primarily takes place to the industry customers directly. The medium-sized company with around 1.000 staff has several production sites and many branches worldwide.Thecompany
aims to expand its market position at the East Europeanmarket with a
special focus at Romania. The geographical sales area includes Romania,
Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. For these markets there
is currently a position as Country Sales Managers Eastern Europe,
preferably based in Romania, to fill.

Industry: Textile industry (also: Clothing industry / Bekleidungsindustrie, textile machines / Textilmaschinen, Leather industry / Lederindustrie; Mașinitextile; piele)
Place of employment: Romania
Qualification: University degree preferred (economist, textile engineer or similar qualification)
Experience: Several years of successful sales experience in a similar position in the field of industrial textile (textiles production, also for industrial applications and automotive)
Employment: Full time

Your field of responsibility:

Our client aims to strengthen its market position primarily in Romania
as well as in Bulgaria, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The Country Sales Manager Eastern Europe will be wholly responsible for
business development, customer service to existing customers, new
customer acquisition and market development in the mentioned countries.
The sales development focus will be primarily at the industry field
(direct customers from clothing, textile and leather industry, as well as textile for technical appliances and automotive).

Definition, planning and implementation of the established goals
concerning revenue, profit and market penetration in close cooperation
with the Head Office.
- Building an infrastructure in Romania and Eastern Europe depending on the development of the turnover.
- Extensive technical customer support, training and consultancy of industrial customers.
- Key-Account-Management.
- Planning and organization of participation in trade fairs.
- Developing individual sales programs and strategies for the different regions.
- Market and competitor analysis.

You use your technical competence and business skills to provide the
customers with individual solutions, actively conveying the benefits of
“your” products.
- Reporting to the Head Office.
Job requirements:
-
Excellent command of Romanian language (on a native level) and good
command of German and/or English, both spoken and written.
- Further languages, for example Bulgarian, Polish, Czech and/or Slovak are of advantage.
- Several years of successful sales experience, preferably within aninternational company, preferably in textile industry sales.
- University degree preferred(an economist, textile engineer or similar qualification).
- Preferably good market and/or industry knowledge.
- Good commercial knowledge.
- Firstexperiences in personnel management as well as leadership skills.

You are a very strong person, someone who is convincing, can rely on
his own competence and know how to assert yourself in dealing with
customers
- You arecompetent, proactive and focusedin your actions and approach, your conduct is confident and friendly.
- Willingness to travel throughout countries mentioned above.
