A. Role purpose:
  • To identify and gratify the technical aspects of individual customer needs with Coats products (threads, zips, trims), services in building of long-term cooperation and value added strategic partnerships with customers.
  • To support sales growth and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solution. 
  • To deliver or exceed sales and margin targets and consolidate long-term market position with the present and future customers in accordance with COATS Romania procedures.
B. Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities:

I. TECHNIAL Advisor Responsibilities
  1. Resolves practical tasks, technical problems of customers with Coats products and services; 
  2. Promotes and populates to customers Coats Sewing Solutions, including digital tools, organizes and conducts technical seminars and training; 
  3. Develops and implements marketing projects in the field of specialty threads; 
  4. Prepares in Romanian language Technical support materials for technical and physical-mechanical characteristics of our products and recommendations for their use. 
  5. Supports launch and sales growth of new products, explore new product inquiries; 
  6. Digital: support E-mail campaigns, adoption of electronic tools (e-Comm), and usage of Salesforce.com; 
II. SALES EXECUTIVE Responsibilities
  1. Identifying all potential customers in sales region, maintain actual ones and create long terms relations with them;
  2. Looking for new sales opportunities and market niches;
  3. Communicates and maintain presence of foreign principles/brands operating in the sales region;
  4. Working in close collaboration with Customer Service Department and Industrial Marketing;
  5. Developing individual budget – on monthly, quarterly and yearly base;
  6. Fulfilling tasks like: preparing weekly plans and reports, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to support sales growth, providing accurate and timely sales forecasting information, identifying potential new applications for company’s products based on existing market knowledge.
C. Education, Qualifications and Experience
  • Engineer, University degree - Textiles
  • Profound knowledge in textile, knitwear and garments production industry;
  • Knowledge, experience in technical textiles and their applications
  • Persuasiveness, Planning and Organizing, Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Good command in English, written and spoken, including technical information
  • Ability to work in a team, self-driven, ability to communicate clearly and understandable
  • Sales increase, profitability and productivity oriented
  • Ability to travel intensively in the country and abroad
  • Min. 2 year experience in the field of textiles / garment / shoe / furniture / leather industries specialty textiles 
  • Results orientation with a proven track record of profitable sales growth
  • In depth knowledge of apparel & specialty threads, zips & trims - products, end uses, competition. 
  • Strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Clear driving license
  • Ability to work in a team, self-driven, ability to communicate clearly and understandable, to be discreet and loyal to the management and the Company
