Adecco Professional Placement is searching for its client, multinational company who will open a plant near Ploiesti specialized in jacquard weaving of medium end upholstery fabrics.
Responsibilities:
The Plant and Operations Manager will in first instance play a significant role in the set up of a new production facility. He/she will be supported technically by specialized textile engineers and auxiliary services made available by the parent company.
The manager will implement, manage and improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organizational milestones, and generally drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence,
The manager will manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of support services (HR, IT, Procurement and Finance) through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions,
Financial planning (at operations level) : Develop and manage annual budget, oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization’s financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals,
Steer management reporting and information flow on all levels.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in operations management implementing best practices and operational excellence, with a preference to experience in a manufacturing environment on an industrial level,
Experience in implementation of process management systems such as Six Sigma, TQ, TPM, and Kaizen are a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style,
Be able to manage budgets, oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and financial performance,
Computer skills and proficient in excel, word, and outlook.
Knowledge of both English and Romanian
